Computer Stuff
My current system is a home built Intel Quad Core i7 930 2.80 GHz CPU, with 8GB RAM, a Nividia GeForce 9500 GT video card, on a ASUS P6X58D-E motherboard, in an Antec 900 case, running Windows 7 Premium 64 bit. My duel LCD monitors are an HP 2159m and an HP w2007. Images are stored on duel internal Western Digital 1TB serial ATA 7200 RPM 16MB cache hard drives with a back up copy on a external Lacie 250 GB Firewire hard drive, and on CD/DVD for archival purposes. I use Adobe Photoshop CS5 for image editing and ACDSee 12 as an image database, and Photoshop CS5 for RAW conversion. Dreamweaver CS4 is used for web site creation, and an Epson Perfection V5000 flatbed scanner for scanning slides.
I use a Sony Vaio laptop, model number PCG-GRT170, at home and while on the road. It's a 2.8GHz Pentium 4 with 512 MB RAM, running Windows XP Home. It has a 16.1" SXGA+ TFT screen, 60 GB hard drive, DVD+- RW, and 802.11b wireless network card.
